It is ideal for a relaxing family holiday as well as a stay with friends. You will find a beautiful garden and plenty of space to unwind. The surrounding area offers hiking trails, cycling routes, and cross-country skiing tracks.
The garden with outdoor seating is perfect for barbecues, children’s games, and peaceful evenings by the fire. Inside, you will enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and the cozy atmosphere created by natural wood. The surrounding forests invite you to go mushroom picking, take quiet walks, or photograph nature. Černý Důl is a picturesque mountain town located at the foothills of the eastern Krkonoše Mountains, surrounded by meadows, forests, and mountain streams. Thanks to its location near Černá hora and the Krkonoše National Park, it is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling trips, and winter skiing. From the cottage, the ski slopes in Černý Důl are only about 500 m away (a 5-minute walk) – the area is part of the SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC, the largest interconnected ski resort in the Czech Republic. In summer, the surroundings offer plenty of excursion options – from climbing Sněžka, through the Treetop Walkway in Janské Lázně, to visiting the famous ZOO in Dvůr Králové. If you feel like an evening stroll or a good dinner, nearby Vrchlabí offers a charming historic center and restaurants serving local cuisine. Černý Důl is a place where you can relax in every season while having all the highlights of the Krkonoše Mountains right at your fingertips.
A beautiful and peaceful place, ideal for a weekend getaway from the city. In the evening, we sat on the terrace and listened to the murmur of the stream – a truly pleasant atmosphere.
A pleasant place for a weekend getaway; we especially appreciate the peace and quiet and proximity to the forest. The cottage is simply furnished, but clean and cozy.
